Aquapoxy II (TS-920)
Aquapoxy II is
unique because it includes A resin and B catalyst included in one
container. However, the catalyst does not begin to activate until
rolled or sprayed. Once applied the molecules self cross-link
greatly increasing hardness and durability while eliminating A&B
mixing. A nano-polymer emulsion that produces results not commonly
associated with water based epoxy finishes. Like original Aquapoxy
it is low VOC, nontoxic and environmentally friendly. It is fast
drying and unusually easy to apply.
Adhesion,
chemical resistance, hardness, long term durability and are ease of
use are all excellent. It is acceptable for use where there is
motorized traffic, salt, high impacts and abrasions. It will not
lift to hot tires.
The finish is
breathable, making it surface tolerant and easy to apply. While
Aquapoxy II is durable enough for commercial and retail applications,
it should also be at the top of your list for use at home in the garage
and basement. It will not lift to hot tires and withstands standing
water. An excellent choice for use as a garage floor coating or on
patios, steps and porches. A self-leveling product that may be
rolled or sprayed. Approved for food service applications.
Grinding or
blasting not typically required with the use of TS-695 Etching
Cleaner or Muriatic acid. Self-priming in two or more coats and may
be applied over any existing coating. May be used with or without
non-skid additives (see TS-630 Pro-Tex), or use it with Super-Fleck
chips to create a unique decorative non-skid floor. Colors leave a
satin finish, clear a high gloss finish so a coat of clear will add
gloss to your color coat. Dry enough to be over-coated in 2 hours,
acceptable for light foot traffic in just 6-8 hours. Guaranteed for
20 years in residential applications, 10 years in commercial
applications.
Practical coverage is 250-300 square feet per gallon. Apply two or
more coats for best results. Not recommended for use on wood. Click
